I missed you!

So, here's my newest piece. As you can see it's based off the Lorax movie. I am SO excited for this movie to come out and even MORE excited cuz it comes out on my 16th birthday!!!!!

To celebrate I made this fanart(it's 11x14, that's why it's a picture and not scanned. I'll scan it as soon as I get the chance) of the Once-ler, Ted, and Audrey.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it came out...but I know I can still do better.

I'm submitting this to the state art show, so wish me luck!

Oh, and just to add, I am CRAZY over the Once-ler. HE IS SO FREAKING CUTE IT KILLS ME!!!!!

I drew this using prismacolor markers as a base and just a little bit of earth-toned colored pencils for the highlights and backround blending.

As I said, this is based off the new Lorax movie coming out March 2nd. But this drawing was also INSPIRED by this AMAZING song by one of my favorite bands: [link]

Anytime I hear that song I immediately think of the Lorax. Everything about that song is SO perfect for the movie!!!!!
